My newsletter is powered by my internet service provider’s announcement list tool. It’s very old school: it’s just plain text! But far better, I think, on the privacy front (see my privacy policy) than a third-party email marketing service. No formatting or embedded images, but no scripts or tracking pixels either. I don’t even ask for your name! Your subscription is between you, me, and my mail server.
